This research aims to analyze Trump's posts on the Truth Social network, focusing on Iran during the Ramadan War, to identify the technique, purpose, and codes of propaganda in these posts. This qualitative research uses a directed qualitative content analysis method with a deductive approach. The statistical population includes all 68 of Trump's posts concerning Iran from February 28, 2026, to April 7, 2026, from which 20 posts were selected using a purposeful sampling method. The data processing method employs Shi-yeh and Shannon's tripartite approach for category discovery, with peer review and triangulation for validity and reliability. Findings showed that in his posts, Trump used demonization, projection and blame-shifting techniques, repetition of messages/keywords, oversimplification and polarization, appeals to values, and bandwagoning. Trump's propaganda posts aimed to create fear, justify war policies against Iran, garner public support, create a negative image of Iran, weaken Iran's international standing, mobilize American public opinion and regional allies against Iran, and deter Iran. Trump has also used coded, military, security, clichéd, and cultural language for his propaganda. The most important lexical codes used by Trump were attack, destruction, threat, harsh response, war, terrorism, national security, global threat, instability, ally, international consensus, maximum pressure, preventing the nuclear program, and supporting freedom and peace.
